Federal Signal, providing critical communications products and systems around the world, has introduced three new product lines specifically designed and engineered to meet international safety standards. The new ATEX/IEC-rated products include three new status indicators, three new dual-function beacons and a trio of newly designed call points.

The intrinsically safe status indicator line includes a LED visual signal, a high output audible device and an indicator combining LED visual and audible functions in a single unit. Shock- and vibration-resistant visual signals spotlight high-intensity LEDs designed for extended service life in tandem with Fresnel lenses for focused light, while offering both low power consumption and low in-rush. All indicators are ATEX and IECEx rated for Zone 0, and FM approved for Class 1, Division 1 and Zone 0.

Flameproof industrial beacon line has been expanded to include sounder/strobe and sounder/LED combination units, as well as a dual-strobe signal. They feature heavy-duty cast aluminum housings with powdercoat finish, stainless steel bracket and hardware, glass lenses and metal dome guards. Audible devices can produce up to 117 dBa at one meter, and are equipped with 32 onboard tones and three remotely selectable stages. Dual-function beacons are ATEX and IECEx rated for Zone 1 and 2 and IP66/67.

The three new Zone 1 call points include the break glass, push button and tool reset models, all ATEX and IECEx rated for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 as well as IP66. Heavy-duty housings are cast from copper-free, marine-grade aluminum, and finished with durable powdercoat paint. Suited for fire control and gas alarm systems, each model is available with or without system-monitoring resistors.
