Nominations are being accepted for the Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement 2016, organized by IBI and METSTRADE, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.

The awards recognize the individual and team success of international boat-building companies. The eight award categories include: retail marketing initiatives, international distributor/dealer development, boat builder and equipment manufacturer collaborative solutions, innovative on a board design solution, advancement in a production process, and individual lifetime achievement. Two new categories have been added: the Environmental Initiative Award and Best Apprenticeship and Training Scheme Award.

The awards event is set for November 16 at The National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam.
