In June, U.K. citizens voted to exit the European Union. The vote, known as Brexit, came as a surprise to many business leaders after decades of the expanding European Union and EU market. The U.S. Department of Commerce and the British American Business is sponsoring an informational webinar Friday, Sept. 9, at 11:00 a.m. EST on the recent Brexit vote and its effects on trade and investments.

This webinar is directed at U.S. companies doing or considering business in the U.K. Speakers include John Simmons, minister counselor for commercial affairs, U.S. Commercial Service UK, London; Jeffries Briginshaw, CEO, British American Business (BAB), the U.S.-U.K. transatlantic business network, London; and Skip Jones, executive director for Europe and Eurasia, International Trade Administration, Washington, D.C.

Registration is free. All registrants will receive a link to the net-replay recording. Register at https://emenuapps.ita.doc.gov/ePublic/event/editWebReg.do?SmartCode=6Q7X.
