Carlyle buys Zodiac

Carlyle Group of Luxembourg was granted clearance from the European Commission to buy the marine division of French aircraft cabin and boat equipment maker Zodiac.

The Commission said the overlaps between Zodiac Marine and Carlyle’s Jandy Pool Products were limited.
