Skier’s Choice chooses WeatherMax

Skier’s Choice, the official towboat of the World Wakeboard Association, chose WeatherMax 80 from Safety Components for mooring covers for their entire line of Supra and Moomba towboats.

Fabricated by Great Lakes Boat Top Co. in Vonore, Tenn., covers made of WeatherMax 80 combine strength and beauty to shield Supra and Moomba boats from the elements. Made from solution-dyed SaturaMax yarns with a patented HydroMax finish, WeatherMax is waterproof, breathable and guaranteed fade-resistant for a minimum of five years.

Additionally, Owosso, Mich.-based, Maurell Products, builder of high-quality and affordable cruiser, performance and fishing pontoons, has switched to WeatherMax 80 for bimini tops on its Crest pontoon boats.

“We chose lightweight WeatherMax for its longevity,” said purchasing agent George Shapas. “We currently use it on our Sunset Bay model and soon we will cover our entire line with it.”
