David’s Custom Trimmers, of Queensland, received an MFA Outstanding Achievement award for this sleek spray dodger on an ex-racing yacht that has been transformed into a cruising yacht. The project included supplying a pattern and mounting point for the teak blocks at the front for the clear polycarbonate to clip to. “We fabricated the 1.25-inch stainless frame, then patterned and manufactured the dodger,” says owner and designer Dave Elliot.
