Ski boat/tender reupholstered in Sunbrella

The client for this project, which won an Award of Excellence in the cockpit upholstery category of the 2008 MFA Awards, wanted his ski boat/tender to match the after deck and other cushions on his Westport 125 footer. The client requested Needle Loft Inc. to reupholster his new boat in Sunbrella, which is unique because most boats like this one are upholstered in vinyl. Needle Loft explained this to the captain but he said that the boat is kept out of the water most of the time. It was a difficult job, as Sunbrella does not stretch around curves as vinyl does.
