Camper adds value to boat

The purpose of this project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the full exterior powerboats under 27 feet category of the 2009 MFA Awards, was to give the client’s boat an updated look. We were updating the look by replacing all his frames and adding a camper where there had previously been an aft curtain. The camper back was added to provide the client with an extended boating season and add value to his boat. The complexity in this project was matching the front and back frame to create a smooth transition in the tops. The large back panel had to curve back in under the cushions, while remaining completely smooth.
