Folding top built and designed to stand out

This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the tops under 27 feet category of the 2009 MFA Awards, involved the Folding Canopy Top (FCT) on this 21-foot Nautique V-Drive. The top was built and designed to stand out from all of the other tops. Ultimately the purpose of the FCT is to provide shade, however this particular project was for one of the local boat dealers who ordered this boat to use as one of its premiere display boats for the local boat show. It has a unique design to complement the interior and general design of the boat. The colors are matched to the interior down to the black binding to match the black welt of the interior.
