MarChem changes name

MarChem Coated Fabrics Inc., manufacturer of Top Notch and Top Gun marine and awning fabrics, changed its name to MarChem Custom Fabrics Inc., dba MarChem CFI. The company changed its name to reflect a new focus on creating custom fabrics for its clients in the marine, awning, tent, outdoor furniture and safety markets. The name change will be reflected in marketing materials and corporate communications. An advertising campaign will promote the new name, and an updated web site allows for rapid custom fabric requests by distributors, OEMs, cut-and-sew operations and end-users.
