Durable, weatherproof enclosure with clean, finished look

Made with Sunbrella Spruce, 40g window vinyl and Lexan windsheild for a catamaran, the client needed a new enclosure durable and weatherproof enough to cruise the North Channel of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. This enclosure is held down by only four Common Sense turnbuttons; the rest is zippered to keder welt to give it a clean, finished look. The project won a 2010 MFA Award of Excellence in the full exterior canvas sailboat (27 feet and up) category.
