Custom mooring cover solves leakage problem

This project, which won a 2010 MFA Award of Excellence in the full covers under 27 feet category, called for a custom mooring cover. The client wished to solve a problem with water leaking into the boat. A one-piece cover was proposed, eliminating a place for leakage at the base of the windshield. Careful patterning using the existing architecture of the windshield, tower and ski pylon, we were able to produce a fitted, easy-to-install cover with a single attachment to the tower to ensure complete water run off.
