Folding Canopy Top replaces hassle of traditional bimini

This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the tops under 27’ category of the 2008 MFA Awards, included a custom Folding Canopy Top (FCT), designed to replace the hassle of a traditional bimini with an innovative quick and easy design. The purpose is to provide shade in an innovative design. The customer wanted the FCT to match the design of the boat. The FCT is an innovative top that provides shade while eliminating the mess of extra hardware and straps. It is simple to use, and stores at the back of the tower to keep it out of the way.
