This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the rigid enclosures category of the 2008 MFA Awards, included a Sedan Bridge Enclosure. The four-sided rigid enclosure utilizes polycarbonate for the flat panels and acrylic for the radiused windows. This client insisted on the cleanest possible look, and wanted a water tight, sealed and entirely permanent installation. The forward quarter panels are asymmetrical to match the framework of the hard top. The center window is oversized. The side windows were fabricated with no zipper connector to minimize border width. The center aft window is two oversized sheets of polycarbonate. The joins run horizontally along the rail to achieve an airy effect.
