This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the soft enclosures category of the 2008 MFA Awards, called for a full enclosure for a center console to provide protection and easy entry and exit. The front curtains were difficult due to the positioning of the front posts relative to the plane of the front curtain. The console had rounded shoulders at the connection point, making it hard to get a straight pull on the canvas to keep the glass tight and flat. The t-top frame and backrest frame had 10 rod holders to cut around, and the baitwell below the seat created problems to connect the curtains. The front and back doors can unzip from the side curtain and then swing in toward the console and snap.
