Striped cushions add a classic look

The client for this project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the cockpit upholstery category of the 2009 MFA Awards, wanted to change his old solid-colored cushions to a nautically classic striped pattern, while also changing the old soft foam to a high-density foam. When changing from a solid to a striped pattern, we had to be careful to fabricate the cushions keeping in mind that the stripes had to match from cushion to cushion. The client was very satisfied and his Daycruiser was updated to a more classic look that more appropriately fit the boat.
