Taylor Made consolidating
Marine Fabricator | May 2009
Taylor Made Systems is consolidating its Bradenton, Fla., operations in order to keep the company’s factory overhead aligned with current market trends. The Bradenton plant is one of five U.S. Taylor Made facilities that manufacture windshields for recreational powerboats. Production will be moved to its Kendallville, Ind., and Gloversville, N.Y., sites. These two facilities, plus its Payne, Ohio, glass manufacturing plant will remain in full operation. Production at the Bradenton plant will wind down over the next few months, and will be used as a distribution and service center in the future.
