Innovative products honored at 2009 Miami Boat Show

Seven marine products were honored at the 2009 Miami International Boat Show. Products are judged on innovative distinction, marine industry and consumer benefits, practicality, cost-effectiveness and consumer availability.

Products honored include the Simrad Broadband Radar BR-24 in the Consumer Electronics and Hardware category; the CrossRate eLGPS 1110 in the Consumer Electronics Software category; the Vetus Easy Tank in the consumer Installed Non-Electronic Hardware category; the Aspen Power Catamarans L80 Launch, the Marlow 70E, and the Boston Whaler (honorable mention) in the Inboard and Outboard Power Cruisers category; the Sea Doo GTX iS PWC in the PWC, Jet Boats and Pontoon Boats category; and the Mako 18 Light Tackle Skiff in the Runabouts and Fishing Craft to 24 Feet category. The Island Pilot DSE 12m Hybrid earned the Environmental Award.
