Innovative leather cutting system

Autometrix introduced a new hide recognition and leather cutting system designed with affordability, ease of use and versatility in mind. The system is capable of meeting both large and small production needs and is offered in several size configurations.

The system begins with first capturing a digital image of the hide using the Autometrix Vision Module (AVM). This camera takes a snap shot of the hide as it lies on the cutting table. A computer then identifies any grade marks and flaws before the machine cuts the pattern.

The complete leather system includes the AVM unit, HideShot and PatternSmith software, Autometrix cutting table with vacuum system, specialty leather creasing and cutting tools, heavy duty air drill, training and on-site installation.
