New products to combat oil spills

Centek Industries offers three products to help contain, protect against and clean up oil.

The floating Sheen Devil contains and removes oil from the water’s surface. Available in 10–foot interconnecting sections, the barrier can be used to span bodies of water or be deployed between two vessels.

The Terraguard absorbs bulk amounts of oil above and below the water’s surface, is effective in rough water and is unaffected by tidal movement.

For the absorption of light and medium oils, including crude oil, the Versimat features over 45 square feet of contact area and has an oil capacity of 60 to 120 gallons.
