New Orleans Boat Show becomes leader in Gulf Coast

The New Orleans Boat Show is expanding to include fishing, hunting, and other sporting and outdoors industries. Traditional boat show offerings will still be included at the show, but a wider selection of exhibitors, ranging from tackle and accessory dealers to hunting, fishing and travel booths, will now be available. Louisiana Sportsman magazine is teaming with the show to provide seminars featuring high-profile sporting and outdoors personalities.

In light of these changes, the New Orleans Boat Show is changing its name to the New Orleans Boat & Sportshow.

The show will take place Jan. 6–10, 2010, at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.
