Three French women, Stéphanie Geyer-Barneix, Alexandra Lux and Flora Manciet, will be participating in the UCAR Cap Odysée paddleboard expedition this summer. The three competetive paddleboarders row in relays to traverse the North Atlantic Ocean. The athletes set off from Cape Breton Island, Canada, in July, and hope to average 100 kilometers per day until they reach their destination in Capbreton, France. A support vessel will accompany the rowers and will facilitate scientific studies during recuperation times.
