The cover needed to fit tight for wind resistance and trailering, yet install easily onto the boat while it is on the lift and on the trailer. An access zipper is provided at the stern for easy access without removing the cover. Suction cups are attached for pre-positioning the cover during installation, preventing the wind from blowing it around. Quick-release buckle straps are used at strategic locations to install the cover to the boat easily and securely. This project won a 2010 MFA Outstanding Achievement Award in the full covers 27 feet and up category.
