This project, which won a 2011 MFA Award of Excellence in the tops 27 feet and up category, called for a rigid enclosure on a flybridge hardtop. The client wanted a cockpit sunshade that was easy to deploy, as well as easy to stow, and yet was strong enough to withstand offshore usage and not be “in the way.”
