Steve Szenay, first vice chair of the Marine Fabricators Association, and Tom Hunter, longtime MFA board member, each released books this past fall. Szenay’s “Marine Canvas Track to Track” offers “seven secrets to installing the perfect track.” They are his insights, gained from visiting some 1,100 canvas shops across the country, into the business of installing the “ultimate track-to-track system” for enclosures. He features 14 different tracking systems to find the ideal fit for a specific boat’s needs. Hunter’s “Frame Design for Boat Tops” is now in its fourth edition, and features principles and techniques for making strong and functional boat top frames. He has an extensive background in engineering, boating and boat top fabrication.
