The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has announced the launch of a new online tool to match employers and potential employees. The NMMA Career Center will focus on the recreational marine industry with highly-targeted resources for employment connections.

“We are excited to launch the NMMA Career Center and to be an active participant in the Marine Industry Career Network (MICN) alongside several industry partners,” said Robert Newsome, Vice President, Engineering Standards; Membership & Association Marketing for NMMA. “Attracting skilled employees is a priority for marine manufacturers to ensure continued industry growth, and the MICN will help connect employers to a larger pool of candidates.”

The Marine Industry Career Network (MICN) is a collaborative effort among marine trade associations and industry stakeholders, including the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA) and Boating Industry magazine, according to NMMA. Employers can manage job postings and search for candidates based on specific job criteria and benefit from online reporting that provides job activity statistics. Job seekers can view openings, post resumes and access career development resources.
