As Hurricane Irma potentially threatens the Tampa area, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has announced that the 2017 Progressive® Insurance Tampa Boat Show®, originally scheduled for September 8-10, will be postponed until October 13-15. All exhibitor space assignments will remain the same for the October dates at the Tampa Convention Center. Updated move-in and move-out dates will be shared soon and pre-purchased tickets will be honored during the new dates. “While we are disappointed to postpone the event, our main concern is for the safety of the boaters, manufacturers and dealers that attend our show,” says Kevin Murphy, show manager. “This decision was made to ensure attendees and exhibitors have time to adequately prepare for Hurricane Irma.” For more information contact Kevin Murphy at kmurphy@nmma.org or via cell or text at 401-651-3220.
