The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has introduced a program to cover up to 40 percent of the cost for replacing eligible marine diesel engines with new marine diesel engines. Applications are due to the Department’s Division of Air Resource Management by Wednesday, November 28, 2018, and funded projects must be completed before June 30, 2019. Funding for the Marine Vessel Engine Replacement project is available through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA).
