The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) will hold its first state political fly-in on March 20-21 in Tallahassee, Fla. The event will focus on making sure conservation, consumer protection and infrastructure are high on decision-makers’ priority lists. NMMA said in its Currents newsletter that weaving its state and regional economic impact data into meetings with political and business leaders is a primary goal in the association’s strategic industry business plan.
