Rainier Industries will acquire Sea2Sky Upholstery, a full-service canvas and upholstery company covering customers’ needs in aviation, marine, auto, residential and commercial furniture upholstery services. With this acquisition, Rainier Industries further extends its reach into the canvas and upholstery market. Rainier currently is known for its expertise in providing a proprietary, semi-rigid and crystal-clear window system for yachts and architectural enclosures of all sizes. The acquisition will combine the power of Rainier’s capabilities of manufacturing production and customer service with Sea2Sky’s long serving creative approach of helping customers with their canvas and upholstery needs.

Ryon Figgins, owner of Sea2Sky, will stay on as Business Unit Manager with Rainier Industries overseeing the day-to-day operations and continued growth of Sea2Sky. Figgins has spent the last 18 years building a name for his design and fabrication of high quality, functional and aesthetic looking boat and plane covers and enclosures. Sea2Sky Upholstery was recognized by the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA) and the Industrial Fabric Association International (IFAI) for its innovation and fabrication quality in 2017 and 2018.
