Following Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s decision to call for a moratorium on events with more than 250 people, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has canceled the Progressive® Insurance Northwest Sportshow® in Minneapolis, Minn., on April 2-5, 2020.

“While we remained hopeful that the show would proceed amid the evolving coronavirus situation, we agree with Governor Walz’s guidance and believe this is the right move to help protect our staff, members, exhibitors and attendees,” said Jennifer Thompson, Senior Vice President of NMMA Boat and Sport Shows.

Regarding the American Boating Congress in Washington, D.C. on May 12-14, 2020, NMMA is currently proceeding as scheduled. A final decision regarding the American Boating Congress will be made later this month, with the health and safety of all our stakeholders being the deciding factor.
