The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Informa Markets announced the merger of the Progressive^® Insurance Tampa Boat Show with the St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show. The Tampa Boat Show was scheduled to take place Sept. 10-12, 2021, and will now be held in conjunction with the 2022 St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show, Jan. 20-23, 2022, at St. Petersburg’s Duke Energy Center for the Arts–Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin.

The merger, part of a long-term strategy to establish one premier boat show on the Gulf Coast, was prompted to happen sooner in response to exhibitor and consumer demand in the region. Moving forward, Informa will be sole owner and producer of the combined event in St. Petersburg.
