Registration is open, and the full conference schedule is available for the annual Marine Fabricators Conference being held Jan. 7-9, 2021, in New Orleans, La. The Sheraton New Orleans on Canal Street is the host hotel and location for almost all conference activities, which include three full days of education and networking designed to help marine fabricators cultivate industry connections, improve their efficiency and increase revenue. Conference highlights include a shop tour at Aluma Marine and Fabrication, which specializes in custom-built aluminum boats 20-feet and larger. Educational sessions include a comparison of the speed and accuracy of traditional vs digital patterning, 3D scanner equipment demos, canvas tools and fabrication methods, solar power discussions and an enclosure window product showcase featuring U-zip enclosure windows from a variety of fabricators in many different styles.

Conference organizers are taking participant health and safety very seriously and will ensure strict protocols including frequent cleaning regimens, extra space for social distancing and other conference and meeting best practices as they continue to evolve leading up to the conference.

Attendees will have numerous opportunities to connect with fabricators and suppliers; including the exhibit show floor, the opening night hillbilly/moonshiner-themed Costume Party and the formal Closing Dinner and Awards event. Exhibit space is filling up, but there are still spots available.
