  • 2008 MFA National Convention shatters attendance records

    Jeffrey W. Kirk, president of The Astrup Co. and chief operations officer of the distribution division of Glen Raven, retired in February.

    Glen Raven Inc. unveiled the name for its new distribution division: Tri Vantage LLC. Last May Glen Raven acquired The Astrup Co. and John Boyle & Co., two of the nation’s largest distributors of products for the awning, marine, sign and casual furniture industries.

    AB Inflatables moved all boat production to a new factory in Colombia from Venezuela.

  • New MAATS Planning Committee chairman appointed

    Greg Lentine, president of NorCross Marine Products, was appointed as the new chairman of the Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) Planning Committee.

  • Glen Raven integrates Boyle plant

    John Boyle & Co.’s manufacturing facility will become part of Glen Raven’s technical fabrics division in March.
