For this project, which won an Award of Excellence in the exterior upholstery category of the 2008 MFA Awards, Seafarer Canvas completely recovered the flybridge exterior seating and the trim around the helm. The client requested that the look of the exterior seats be softened and that the color theme be changed from the original all-white. During reupholstery, one has to be careful to avoid the puckering and stretching that often occurs while using Ultraleather.

This project resulted in an extremely slick, clean look without compromising softness and comfort. The trim added significantly to the new softer theme and, along with the seating, transformed this ordinary flybridge into a custom version that is sleek and comfortable.
