This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the dodger category of the 2008 MFA Awards, required the fabrication of a dodger with fixed legs of 1-inch stainless steel that will give the owner protection from the elements and a clear view while sailing. The owner wanted the dodger high enough to look straight through, and with as much glass as possible. The other important request was that the dodger not have wings that blocked entry and exit into the cockpit. The owner wanted a dodger that would blend well with the bimini and connector that we would be adding. He also requested the dodger have a clean, simple, tailored look with a great fit.
