Awning and marine fabrics offer increase in water repellency

Glen Raven Custom Fabrics has introduced a “Next Generation” version of Sunbrella awning and marine fabric that offers a 25-percent increase in water repellency with no loss of breathability. The new fabrics feature enhanced quality, strength and production efficiency. Technological advancements in manufacturing process and material improvements produce this new level of performance. Sunbrella’s fade resistance and ease of cleaning continue at the same levels in the Next Generation product. Glen Raven doubled the limited warranty period for color fastness and durability to 10 years. The new warranty program provides fabric replacement cost value for eight years. During the ninth year, Glen Raven will extend a 30-percent discount on replacement fabrics and a 15-percent discount in the 10th year.
