Sunbrella sling, awning and marine fabrics from Glen Raven Custom Fabrics have received the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute’s (GEI) Children & Schools certification as low-emitting products, assuring architects, specifiers, building owners and homeowners that these fabrics contribute to healthy indoor air.

The GREENGUARD Certification Program, an industry independent, third-party testing program, subjected Glen Raven sling, marine and awning fabrics to extensive testing.

“The level of interest in environmentally responsible products has never been greater than it is today,” said Carl E. Smith, CEO of GEI. “With so many products claiming to be ‘green,’ the GREENGUARD Certification Program represents an objective evaluation of one aspect of being an increasingly sustainable product.”
