This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the full exterior powerboats 27 feet and up category of the 2009 MFA Awards, was prompted by a request for a redesign of the existing canvas by recreating new stainless steel frames with proper crown and profile look. 40-gauge window vinyl was chosen for its ease of care without the need for multiple waxings per year and no issues regarding coatings getting stained. The thread used prevents the need for restitching. Two u-zip windows provide ventilation when the full enclosure is in use. Secure aft main frame to arch in two positions add frame stability. The frame bends were tough in that all three frames were different widths to fit the shape of the boat.
