Abbeon Cal Inc.’s AZTC-20 Electronic Thermocutter cuts materials cleanly without crimping, serrating or unraveling. Operator fatigue is reduced since the thermocutter weighs only 11½ ounces, whereas other similar brands weigh more than two pounds. The reduced weight is attributed to high-tech electronics, which replace the transformer so the handle doesn’t get hot. The cutter features a thumb-controlled temperature control and an electrical current control switch, which allows a broader selection of large blades. The cutter comes with a tool stand. A cutting foot accessory is available, which lifts the material as it’s cut.
