Sophisticated take on original cushions
Seafarer Canvas, Norwalk, Conn.
The client did not have his original cushions baseball stitched, and as a result they split open and were ruined. The customer wanted to have something similar to the original cushions, but more sophisticated. We decided to go with an all-white theme, and we changed the pleated area to give the cushions a classier look. The most complex issue was keeping the pleat tight and even. We were able to line the individual pleating up well, however it was initially a cause for concern. We also had to pay close attention to the profile lines of the cushions to make sure the back of one would flow appropriately into another.
