Linda Delgado, MFC, Needle Loft of Texas, was recognized by the Industrial Fabrics Association International board of directors for her lifetime commitment to the industry by receiving the coveted Honored Life Member designation. She was nominated by Katie Bradford, MFC, IFM, of Custom Marine Canvas, and was honored at IFAI Expo Americas in October.

Delgado has been a member of IFAI for more than 30 years. She became a Master Fabric Craftsman in 1986 and has won numerous awards in IFAI’s International Achievement Awards and Marine Fabricators Association’s Excellence Awards. She was a founding member and an officer of the MFA, a board member of the Southwest Industrial Fabrics Association, and served two three-year terms on the IFAI board of directors.

Delgado hosted two MFA regional workshops: one in New Orleans and one in Houston. She has worked and continues to work tirelessly to promote IFAI and the MFA, constantly volunteering her time and energy to better the industry and the association.
