Discover Boating launches campaign

Discover Boating, a public awareness effort managed by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) on behalf of the North American recreational boating industry, launched a new campaign dedicated to encourage boaters to get non-boaters to experience the allure of the boating lifestyle.

The campaign, Welcome to the Water, includes a strong Facebook presence and provides boaters with electronic invitations to ask their family and friends to join them out on the water aboard their boat. The organization plans to update its website to include enhanced personalization capabilities, a new “Get Off Your Dock” e-guide and downloadable “Get Started in Boating” DVD.
