Eco-friendly WeatherMax

Safety Components WeatherMax fabric now has an improved and more eco-friendly HydroMax finish. The new finish doesn’t negatively affect the performance, water resistance or breathability of the fabric.
The company uses C6 chemistry instead of conventional C8-based finishes, which have detectable quantities of PFOAs (perfluorooctanoic acid), a carbon-chain solvent used in non-stick cookware.
Recyclable and breathable, WeatherMax has twice the strength and six times the tear and abrasion resistance of acrylic. Made of solution-dyed SaturaMax yarns, WeatherMax is guaranteed to retain its color for a minimum of five years.
