Stiles to lead MPT curriculum effort

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Maritime Professional Training, the largest private maritime training school in the United States, has named Al Stiles the school’s vice president of curriculum development. He will focus on broadening MPT’s course offerings in both on-campus and online settings. Stiles most recently worked with the Justice Department for eight years as the Enterprise Learning Technologies Program Officer, which concluded 35 years of federal service. In that role he managed Justice’s e-learning development and delivery for 110,000 department employees working in more than 50 federal agencies. He previously worked at the Department of Health and Human Services and Homeland Security. Additionally, Stiles served 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard.
