Industry News | October 16, 2014 | By:

It’s already a popular way to watch fireworks. And San Francisco Giants baseball fans have become adept at retrieve home-run balls from the Bay.

Discover Boating reports that “boatgating—aka stern-gating or sailgating—is becoming a preferred way to prepare for (and unwind after) the game—a waterborne take on the time—honored and growing tradition of tailgating.

Among the sites offered as among the best for boatgating are EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla.; Citi Field in New York City; Seattle’s Husky Stadium, and Soldier Field in Chicago, not to mention San Francisco’s AT&T Park.

More information on these and other boatgating options is available in the resources section of Discover Boating.
