Global Industry meets in Cartagena de Indias to discuss recreational boating in Colombia

Speakers, exhibitors and sponsors from around the world are meeting in Cartagena de Indias for the International Nautical Congress of Colombia. The summit, being held April 27-29, is organized by AsoNautica de Colombia (ANC), Centro de Convenienciones de Cartagena de Indias, the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) and the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA).

The conference goals are to introduce Colombia as an emerging boating market and showcase the country’s potential to the global marine industry. Colombia has more than 21 marina projects in the approval process and has a growing middle class. Participants of the conference have the opportunity to network with Colombian and international marine companies and sponsors. The current state of the industry in Colombia is being discussed along with opportunities to grow the recreational boating industry.
