The Orlando Sentinel reports that with less than a week remaining before the loan application deadline, Brevard County topped Central Florida counties, including Orange County, for the dollar amount in federal disaster loans approved by the Small Business Administration this year. Statewide, the SBA has approved 13,757 loans for more than $505 million related to Hurricane Irma. The current application deadline for loans is Nov. 24. It’s possible that will be extended again, but people are urged to apply now.
