Bill Yeargin receives 2019 Hammond leadership award

The Foundation for Recreational Boating Safety, Education and Environmental Awareness awarded Bill Yeargin, president and CEO of Correct Craft, the 2019 Hammond Marine Industry Leadership Award for his extraordinary service and commitment to advocacy on behalf of the recreational boating industry. The annual award recognizes individuals who have helped grow and protect the industry through advocacy, and who have demonstrated dedication to the long-term health of the entire marine industry.

Yeargin joined Correct Craft in 2006 as its president and CEO. The 94-year-old marine industry manufacturer has global operations and subsidiaries that include several boat companies. Yeargin sits on several marine industry boards and committees, and served the Obama and Trump administrations on cabinet-level advisory councils.
