Keynote speaker announced for ATA Women in Textiles Summit

Dr. Melissa Furman, the owner of Career Potential LLC, will be the keynote speaker at the Advanced Textile Association’s Women in Textiles Summit taking place March 1–3, 2023, at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, S.C. Furman will address practical solutions to the challenges of being a woman in the workplace, particularly burnout.

Furman served as the Assistant Dean and Professor at the Hull College of Business at Augusta University for more than a decade. Her passion for career, leadership and organizational development inspired her to launch Career Potential, a consulting, training and coaching organization. Her expertise includes generational diversity, unconscious bias, leadership success and emotional intelligence.
